Custom “Sugarscoop” Welding Hood

A Custom Engraving Personalization project for a fellow welder who works the waters of the Highland Lakes area. Our 20watt diode laser was able to make easy work of the fiberglass reinforced material of the hood. We went over it with a couple passes by the diode laser to get a good deep engraving. Then a high temp clear coat paint was applied to prevent moisture from cracking and splitting the freshly engraved material and to leave a great looking shine!
